Current Limitations
- Printed page numbers, tables of contents, bookmarks, links, and cross-references do not automatically update when physical pages move.
- Editing a digitally signed PDF can invalidate its signature, so use an approved signing workflow when authenticity matters.
- Password-protected, damaged, or unusually complex PDFs may not open in the browser.
- Thumbnails are limited to the first 80 original pages for browser performance; every page can still be arranged with cards and the exact-order field.

Common Questions
Can I change the order of pages in a PDF without editing the content?
Yes. DocuKit copies the original source pages into a new physical sequence rather than rendering thumbnail images into the output, so normal text and vector content are not intentionally reduced in quality.
Can I enter the page order instead of dragging every page?
Yes. Enter every original page once, using commas and ranges such as 6, 1-3, 5, 4. Descending ranges such as 8-5 are also supported, and the tool reports duplicates or missing pages before applying the order.
What does Interleave scan halves do?
It alternates pages from the first half with pages from the reversed second half. For a six-page source, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 becomes 1, 6, 2, 5, 3, 4, which is useful for some separately scanned front-and-back stacks.
Can I undo page moves?
Yes. The tool keeps up to 20 ordering changes in browser memory and provides both Undo and Redo controls until another change replaces the redo history.
