Can it find added or removed pages?

Yes. The page matcher uses text and visual fingerprints rather than assuming page 4 must match page 4. It can suggest inserted, removed, and moved pages, while marking weak matches for review.

Why might an unchanged page show small differences?

Different PDF producers, fonts, transparency handling, antialiasing, or sub-pixel positioning can change rendered pixels. Auto-alignment and edge-noise controls reduce this effect, but important results still need visual review.

Does a clean result prove the files are legally identical?
